Houston, TX, March 09, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Halcón Resources Corporation (NYSE: HK) ("Halcón" or the "Company") today announced that it has retained PJT Partners as financial advisor and Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP as legal advisor to assist the Company as it charts a course through this downturn. The Company also today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed John Wat (J.W.) Brown and Paul P. (Flip) Huffard IV as new board members, effective March 4, 2016.
