BlackRock Closed-End Funds Announce A Change To Their Boards Of Directors/Trustees

The BlackRock registered closed-end funds (each a "Fund" and collectively, the "Funds") announced today that the Board of Directors/Trustees (the "Board") of each Fund appointed Ms. Catherine A. Lynch as a director/trustee effective March 1, 2016. Ms. Lynch has agreed to serve as an independent director/trustee of each Fund and a member of the Audit Committee, Performance Oversight Committee and Governance and Nominating Committee of the Board of each Fund, as of the effective date.
