Turkcell (NYSE:TKC) (BIST:TCELL) Investor Relations was recognized for its financial results communication in a ceremony held by TUYID, the Investor Relations Association of Turkey. Turkcell received TUYID's top award in the "Communication of Financial Results" category again this year following a similar success in 2014.

Members of Borsa Istanbul's BIST100 index - in other words Turkey's top publicly-traded companies - were evaluated by KPMG for the TUYID awards. Turkcell was found to have the best practice in Turkey in the category of "Communication of Financial Results" following a transparent evaluation process. Both the annual report and quarterly announcements were taken into consideration.

Providing transparent, equal and timely information to our investors - and doing so consistently - is the foundation of the strong bond of trust that we have with the investor community" said Nihat Narin, Turkcell's director of Investor Relations & Business Development. "We hope that the example that we set with our IR practices facilitates the work of other Turkish companies in their international endeavors."
