TD Mobile 2.0 Adds Hybrid Mobile Development, Automatic Database Access In Latest Release

Gupta Technologies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daegis Inc. (NASDAQ: DAEG), and a global provider of application development, database and migration software, today announces the availability of a new release of its mobile enterprise development tool, TD Mobile version 2.0. This new version advances mobile application development for the user by allowing them the option to build either a web-based HTML5 mobile application or a hybrid mobile application that can be downloaded from an app store.

TD Mobile 2.0 includes many new powerful features that are intuitive and easy to use - sortable tables, popup dialogs, and data driven menu lists for master detail apps are in addition to the rich set of GUI controls. Using TD Mobile 2.0, developers can now build hybrid apps for Android, iOS, and Windows Phone and deploy them to the respective app stores. Hybrid apps leverage native capabilities by supporting deeper device integration options for certain features such as device camera to decode barcodes, push notifications, contacts access and more.

"Gupta Technologies takes pride in keeping the user's needs front and center," said Tim Bacci, CEO of Daegis Inc. "The robust feature set of TD Mobile 2.0 can be directly attributed to understanding our customers' needs; this in turn invokes a very fast response and turn-around by our experienced development team."

With TD Mobile the design and implementation of HTML5/JavaScript mobile apps has become incredibly easy. Building mobile database-enabled apps can be completed entirely without any coding. The automatic database access is enhanced with both calculated fields and multiple identity fields. Additional layout formatting options are available with controls that allow for more options when customizing the app design.
