NCI, Inc. (NASDAQ:NCIT), a leading provider of information technology (IT) and professional services and solutions to U.S. Federal Government agencies, announced today that it was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract valued at $14.9 million to provide IT services in support of the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The award is a recompete and consists of a 12-month base period and two 12-month option periods. The work is under NCI's ITES-2S contract. NCI will continue support of the NEC's Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network and Secure Internet Protocol Router Network. Services will include planning and service delivery for the operations and maintenance support of the NEC's installation and remote site distributed telecommunication, computing, data and network environments. In addition, NCI will provide end-to-end IT services, system administration, systems integration and testing, configuration management and infrastructure management. Network administration, end-user support and training, fielding support, and information and network security services round out the support effort. Fort Bragg is the U.S. Army's largest installation in population. It supports more than 60,000 military personnel, employs more than 20,000 civilian and contractor personnel, and serves a daily population of more than 90,000. The installation serves as home base to the Army's Airborne and Special Operations forces, which serve every combatant commander and are positioned for worldwide deployment by air, sea and land.
