Fiat Chrysler (FCAU) Stock Gains After Revealing Chrysler, Alfa Romeo Sales Goals

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Fiat Chrysler (FCAU) shares are up 1.46% to $15.61 in afternoon trading on Friday after the company revealed that its Chrysler brand is on pace to hit its sales goal of 800,000 vehicles in 2018, according to Reuters

The company also said that it would begin producing a product in China, although it did not disclose which product that would be and affirmed that 90% of the Chrysler brand's sales will be in North America.

Separately, the company unveiled the new Alfa Romeo sedan as Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne said that he expects the luxury brand to hit annual sales goals of 400,000 vehicles by 2018.
