NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Live in New York and want something to do nearly every night of the year? The Barclays Center, the new Brooklyn arena that plays host to the Brooklyn Nets basketball team as well as many concert events throughout the year, is auctioning off two all-access passes to every event at the arena for one year.
If you're interested in such an offer, it will cost you. Opening bids start at $90,000 and the pass takes effect on August 15 when Marvel Universe LIVE will be showing; the event is a live-action show starring Marvel superheros like Iron Man and the Hulk.
Barclays Center opened in 2012 in downtown Brooklyn and has become one of New York's premier event centers for concerts, professional sports, family shows and college basketball.
The winning bidder in this auction will receive two seats in the arena's lower level for all events from August 15, 2015 to August 15, 2016, a span that includes over 200 events, consisting of concerts by Madonna, Ariana Grande and Motley Crue; shows like Disney on Ice Celebrates 100 Years of Magic; the Legends Classic college basketball tournament, plus all Brooklyn Nets and New York Islanders home games, including the playoffs. Should the tickets sell for $90,000, the opening bid, each ticket will cost $225 (and each event, double that, for the two tickets).
"The Hospital has been a partner of Barclays Center since the venue's inception and we are proud to continue supporting an important Brooklyn institution," said Brett Yormark, CEO of Barclays Center.
