Under the two-pronged program:
- Vocational training labs will be established in 45 schools: Students with disabilities can be trained to gain competencies that will be helpful in the workplace, especially in the sectors of accommodation and travel, hospitality and crafts. With Turkcell's support, existing training facilities will be improved, or built from scratch where necessary. Six thousand students will benefit from these facilities.
- Computer and technology labs will be established in 35 schools: Efficient use of technology can help students with disabilities overcome barriers in the workplace. With Turkcell's support, schools will be equipped with the technology infrastructure that will permit students with hearing impairment receive vocational training in graphic design, information technology and other similar fields. Devices such as smart boards and assistive technologies such as text-to-speech programs will be provided to help visually impaired students catch up with the curriculum. Four thousand students will benefit from these facilities.
