Books-A-Million and its customers show their support for U.S. troops and veterans with the Coffee for the Troops campaign, which brings a comfort of home to overseas troops and provides coffee to veterans at VA hospitals for no charge. From May 3 to May 30, customers can visit any Books-A-Million store to purchase a bag of Joe Muggs coffee for donation. The coffee is distributed through Books-A-Million's partner in the program, Soldiers' Angels, and helps to give troops and veterans a much appreciated taste of home.

"We place a tremendous value on our partnership with Books-A-Million," said Jennifer Cernoch, Vice President of Operations for Soldiers' Angels. "Without the help of Books-A-Million and its customers we would not be able to provide these goods to veterans at VA hospitals and overseas troops. These generous coffee donations give them a true taste of home and lets them know that they are not forgotten."

Coffee for the Troops is in its sixth campaign and donation totals have exceeded 180,000 bags of coffee. For this campaign, Books-A-Million aims to donate a total of 50,000 bags. In addition to the customer donations, Books-A-Million will contribute 1 bag for every 5 customer purchases, which will then be distributed to U.S. troops overseas and VA hospitals across the country through Soldiers' Angels.

"Each year we are overwhelmed by the support our customers show our troops and veterans through this program. It shows that our customers have a deep appreciation for everything our veterans and troops have done for this country," said Natalie Blankenship, Café Buyer for Books-A-Million. "We are honored and grateful to have a partner like Soldiers' Angels to get these donations where they are needed most."

Customers will leave a personalized message on each bag donated to show their appreciation for the sacrifices U.S. service members have made. Donations have exceeded Books-A-Million's goal each year, and the growth of the Coffee for the Troops campaign shows that Books-A-Million and its customers are dedicated to supporting U.S. troops and veterans.
