NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- TheStreet's Jim Cramer says he is only taking two liquefied natural gas plants seriously right now: Cheniere Energy (LNG - Get Report) and Dominion Resources (D - Get Report) .
Cramer notes Dominion's great quarter, in which the company reported fourth-quarter earnings of 84 cents a share, a penny higher than expectations. The company also increased its quarterly cash dividend by 8%.
But Cramer asks if there are really only going to be two LNG exporters in this country. If that's the case, he says, then investors must understand that natural gas is going to stay cheap for the next decade, and the U.S. is going to become a manufacturing powerhouse because there's no place to put it all.
Cramer notes many people felt there would be 12 to 15 LNG export plants, but he says only Dominion and Cheniere are relevant.LNG data by YCharts
