The dividend will be paid on March 16, 2015 to stockholders of record at the close of business on March 6, 2015. In addition, the company announced a 2015 second-quarter dividend on its Preferred Stock Series A of $0.87125 per share. The dividend will be paid on April 30, 2015, to stockholders of record at the close of business on April 20, 2015. On December 31, 2015, Sallie Mae had approximately 3.3 million shares of Preferred Stock Series A, and 4 million shares of Preferred Stock Series B outstanding.
