NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- ImageWare Systems (IWSY) shares are flat in after-hours trading after closing the day up 4.55% to $2.30, following the release of the company's third quarter earnings results after the closing bell on Monday.
The biometrically enabled software-based identity management solutions provider reported a nearly $1.6 million decrease in revenue to $919,000 from $2.5 million during the same period last year. The company attributed the decrease to the nearly $1.5 million the company received from a one-time contract with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs in 2013.
The company also reported a net loss of 2 cents per diluted share that is in line with what analysts were expecting the company to lose during the period.
