NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Shares of Sky-mobi (MOBI) were falling 9.3% to $6.34 Monday after the Chinese software company announced the resignation of its CFO and reported its third quarter earnings results.

Sky-mobi said that CFO John Bi tendered his resignation effective Monday. The company said it is searching for a replacement and hopes to appoint one in the near future.

For the third quarter Sky-mobi reported earnings of RMB 0.06 (1 cent) a share. Revenue increased to RMB 211.1 million ($34.4 million) for the third quarter, up from RMB 116.6 million in the year-ago quarter.

Sky-mobi said it expects revenue of RMB 220 million to RMB 230 million ($35.9 million to $37.5 million) for the fourth quarter.
