NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Shares of Rocket Fuel (FUEL) were gaining 9.4% to $17.75 after-hours Wednesday after the advertising agency beat analysts' estimates for earnings and revenue for the third quarter.
Rocket Fuel reported a loss of 18 cents a share for the third quarter, above the loss of 30 cents a share analysts expected for the quarter. Revenue grew 63.4% year over year to $102.09 million for the quarter, beating analysts' estimates of $98.67 million.
The company said it expects revenue of $140 million to $165 million for the fourth quarter. Analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters expect revenue of $140 million for the quarter.
