NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Shares of American Airlines Group Inc. (AAL) are lower by 2.44% to $30.74 in late morning trading on Wednesday, as Ebola concerns see airline stocks fall.

On Tuesday, a second worker at the Dallas hospital where patient Thomas Eric Duncan was being treated for, and later died of the virus, was diagnosed with Ebola. After having complained of a fever on Tuesday the worker was isolated and tests later confirmed the worker has Ebola, NBCNews.com reports.

Worry over the spread of the disease has caused a 10% decline in global airline stocks, Bloomberg reports.

Other airline stocks slumping today include United Continental Holdings (UAL) , lower by 1.25% to $42.63 and Alaska Air Group (ALK) , down by 1.15% to $42.20.
