In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Manhattan Bagel is pleased to partner with the American Cancer Society and invite customers to drink coffee for a good cause during its 2 nd annual fundraiser. Starting Sunday, October 5, participating Manhattan Bagel locations will donate $0.10 from the proceeds of every cup of hot coffee sold to the American Cancer Society to help support promote breast cancer awareness. In support of the month long promotion, all participating Manhattan Bagel locations will offer pink coffee cup sleeves to commemorate the fundraiser taking place through November 2. “We are proud to once again partner the American Cancer Society, to support its efforts and help raise awareness for breast cancer among our local restaurant communities,” said Glenn Lunde, chief concept officer of Einstein Noah Restaurant Group (NASDAQ:BAGL). “The American Cancer Society works hard every day towards discovering and delivering cures for cancer, and we hope our fundraiser and pink coffee sleeves act as a symbol of hope and support for this mission.” In addition to the $0.10 donation from each cup of hot coffee, customers will also have the opportunity to make an additional donation to the American Cancer Society at the register. Last year, Manhattan Bagel proudly raised more than $20,000 for the charity.
