NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Walgreen Co.'s (WAG) earnings estimates for the current quarter were lowered to 70 cents per share from 80 cents by analysts at Jefferies Group.

The firm also reduced its full year 2015 earnings estimates to $3.58 per share from $4.03, and dropped its full year 2016 earnings forecast to $4.40 from $4.47.

Jefferies said it cut its earnings expectations on the retail drug store chain as it believes Walgreen is facing margin headwinds.

The firm lowered its price target on the stock to $67 from $69.

Shares of Walgreen are higher by 0.98% to $59.85 in pre-market trading on Wednesday.
