Why Banco Bradesco (BBD) Stock Is Declining Today

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Shares of Banco Bradesco SA (BBD)  finished down by 8.31% to $14.56 on heavy trading volume on Monday, as Brazilian stocks fall as a result of recent election data showing President Dilma Rousseff is rising in the polls ahead of Sunday's vote, Reuters reports.

Brazil's current president and her government have been under fire from investors for executing policies that go against the interests of minority shareholders in companies run by the state, Reuters added.
