Why H.B. Fuller (FUL) Stock Is Tanking Today

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Shares of H.B. Fuller Co  (FUL)  is tanking, down 15.51% to $37.16 after the specialty chemical products maker provided fourth quarter earnings guidance of between 60 cents to 70 cents per share, missing the average analyst estimate of 85 cents per share after its third quarter earnings report yesterday.

The company reported third quarter earnings of 42 cents per adjusted share, down sharply from 72 cents per share a year ago, and lower than the 76 cents per share analysts expected. 

Revenue was up 2.4% to $526.76 million from the same quarter last year, but missed analysts' estimate of $539.54 million.
