How Will Airbus (EADSY) Stock Be Affected By its U.S. Assembly Plans?

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Airbus Group (EADSY) is looking to capture some of Boeing's (BA) U.S. market share with the recent opening of its $600 million state-of-the-art assembly plant in Mobile, AL., the Financial Times reports.

However, there's the larger question of whether Airbus' domestic presence will encourage U.S. customers to switch and place more orders than if the company continued to serve the U.S. market exclusively from Europe, the Times said.

Shares of Airbus Group are down 0.70 to $15.71.
