NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- The Mosaic Company (MOS) was downgraded to "sector perform" from "outperform" in pre-market trading, with a lowered price target of $51 from $55 by analysts at RBC Capital.

The firm cut its rating on the crop nutrient company's stock due to higher phosphate input costs and concerns about potash market fundamentals.

Shares of Mosaic closed at $47.17 on Monday.
