Why Leju (LEJU) Stock Is Gaining Today

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Leju (LEJU) was gaining 10.3% to $16.11 Wednesday after beating analysts' estimates for revenue in the second quarter.

Revenue for the quarter grew 63.4% year-over-year to $117.4 million, above the $113.78 million analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters expected for the quarter. The company reported earnings of a15 cents a share for the second quarter, below estimates of 16 cents a share.

Leju's e-commerce revenue grew 159% from the year-ago quarter to $68.3 million. Online as revenue rose 11% to $44.5 million for the quarter, while listings revenue fell -16% to $4.2 million
