Why GoPro (GPRO) Stock Is Sinking In After-Hours Trading Today

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- GoPro  (GPRO) stock is down -7.88% to $44.19 in after-hours trading following a wider second quarter loss in its first earnings report as a public company.

The hardware and software solutions company reported a second quarter net loss of -$19.8 million, or -24 cents per share, greater than the -$5.1 million loss, or -6 cents per share, a year ago.

Revenue rose 38% to $244.6 million in the quarter, and topped the analysts' estimate of $238.1 million.
