The position: Senior producer and editor of on-air promotions for DIRECTV
Location: Los Angeles, Calif.
Job duties: Will creatively conceptualize, write, develop and produce ideas into completed on-air promotional campaigns, segments and marketing videos for episodic series, sporting events, concert specials and other entertainment. Leads creative teams to generate ideas, develop concepts and oversee the entire developmental process. Reviews the work of other producers and editors and collaborates with department leaders to oversee and inspire the creativity of the team. Will also be responsible for project footage, including researching and selecting music and voice-over talent.

Requirements: Requires at least seven years of experience, at least two of which must have involved leadership or creative director roles. Background must also include developing, editing, writing and producing television programs and promotions. Degree in broadcast, film, design or related field is preferred. Must have hands-on experience with Adobe products, Final Cut Pro, 3D Studio Max and similar products. Must be able to demonstrate a passion for and knowledge of design, technique, practice and technology. Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
