IHOP is giving away free pancakes to kids … again.
On Friday, October 29, children 12 and under can enjoy a “Scary Face Pancake” free of charge. The offer is limited to dine-in patrons only. You get also only get one pancake per child, but, hey, at least it’s topped with strawberries, candy corn whipped cream and mini-Oreo cookies.
Customers can check the chain’s website to find a participating IHOP near you.
This particular freebie celebrates Halloween, which, oddly enough, seems like more of a cause from celebration that some of IHOP’s other promotions. Case in point: IHOP’s September initiative, which gave away three free pancake meals over the course of the year to celebrate the so-called “pancake revolution.”
Other freebies this year included a back-to-school promotion where children 12 and under received one free kid’s meal with each adult purchase every day in August, a tax-season special in April that also fed children for free and a universal pancake giveaway in February that celebrated National Pancake Day.
We feel the need to point out that the chain could very easily change its name to the International House of Promotions.
