The position: On-air talent for World Wrestling Entertainment (Stock Quote: WWE)

Location: Stamford, Conn.

Job duties: Will provide continuous commentary to describe and accentuate the in-ring action at WWE shows and live events. Will be expected to contribute to the excitement and fan/viewer enjoyment of the show. Offers interesting trivia and background information related to WWE storylines and talent. Note: Some of the company's on-air personalities have become involved in storylines on various occasions. Some writing and/or production duties may also be involved.

The company: World Wrestling Entertainment (previously known as World Wrestling Federation) is a sports entertainment company that produces several original television programs each week throughout the year. The company also produces pay-per-view programming and has a publishing division.

Requirements: Requires college degree in journalism, communications or a related field. Must have one to three years of play-by-play sports announcing experience. Applicants must have strong announcing, writing and television production skills. Requires strong knowledge of WWE programming, talent and storylines. Candidates must provide a tape featuring highlights of their on-air experience as part of the application process. Must be able to travel extensively.
