The position: Manager of veterans/community programs in the Paralympics division for the U.S. Olympic Committee
Location: Colorado Springs, Colo.
Job duties: The manager will oversee the successful development, implementation and expansion of the Paralympics community-based programs serving disabled veterans and disabled members of the Armed Forces. The manager will also develop annual and multi-year plans for growth of the program, including expansion of Paralympics Sport Clubs. Among other duties, the manager will implement a region-specific education and training program for partner organizations. He or she will also develop a regional communications plan to support the growth and development of programming specific to the region.
The company: The U.S. Olympic Committee coordinates all Olympic-related activity in the United States.
Requirements: Applicants must have a college degree or equivalent experience. The role requires at least three years of relevant work experience, ideally working with Olympic or Paralympics sports programs. Familiarity with the Paralympics is helpful, as are excellent communication and public speaking skills. Applicants must be able to manage multiple projects and priorities. Strong writing skills are a must, as the role requires the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.

Salary info: The salary for this position ranges from $45,900 to $68,952.
