The position: Public relations specialist and alumni programs coordinator for Georgia State University
Job duties: Will be responsible for a variety of Alumni Association programs, including homecoming, athletic events and award ceremonies. Will plan, organize and oversee events, prepare promotional materials, coordinate publicity, manage budget and direct committee of volunteers. Serves as a program liaison on campus and within the community.

Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree in English, communications or a related field. Six years of related experience may be substituted for college degree. Ideally, candidates will have three years of experience in a public or non-profit organization working with volunteers. Events management experience preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required.
