The position: Grant administrator for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International
Location: New York City
Job duties: Will manage the assigned program grants portfolio. Implements the review and administration of research awards and grants. Maintains the grants management databases and provides departmental reports regarding research funded by the organization. Will coordinate the review of grants and prepare payments schedules for awards. Oversees documents related to grants, including official notification letters. Interacts with applicants, reviewers and awardees to provide requested information and answer questions. Manages the renewal application process to ensure necessary paperwork is completed. Assists with the department's daily operations, and ensures that the security and confidentiality of all grant-related information is maintained.

Requirements: Must have college degree and at least two years of nonprofit experience, preferably involving research grants. Must be customer service oriented.
