As Consumerist reported, “JetBlue Airways is celebrating its 10th birthday with a $10 one-day fare sale Monday on flights from New York to the airline's original 10 destinations.”
Everyone has $10, even homeless people and former Lehman executives. And $10 is super cheap for a flight. Although I’ve had some beef with the airline recently (long flight delay, mean customer service reps), it’s one of the better options for air travel: a leather seat, free in-flight DirecTV and XM satellite radio programming and complimentary Terra Blue potato chips.
The 10 destinations include Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando, West Palm Beach and Fort Myers, Fla.; Buffalo and Rochester, N.Y.; Oakland, Calif.; Burlington, Vt.; and Salt Lake City. You would have to leave from New York’s JFK International Airport—and you would have to book your reservation by 11:59 p.m. CST today for a flight tomorrow or Wednesday only.
If you aren’t doing anything tomorrow, this one seems like a no-brainer. Take that mid-week vacation to sunny California or Florida and maybe enjoy a cupcake in honor of JetBlue’s 10th birthday.
