Retailers Looking to Stretch Out Cyber Monday

Retailers have unveiled some deals for Cyber Monday, the popular online shopping day, along with deals on Thanksgiving and days in between. Here are some of the offers:

— Toys R Us Inc. is offering deals throughout the holiday on its Web site, beginning at 12:01 a.m. Thanksgiving Day. On Thursday and Friday, the company will discount Hooked on Phonics learning systems 75%, cut prices on board games and puzzles by 60% and discount Barbie items 50%.

On Cyber Monday, Nov. 30, the company will offer a DJ Hero Bundle for $99, down from $119.99; 75% off action figures; and a buy-2-get-1 free offer on Nerf Blasters, among other deals.

— Target Corp. will offer daily online deals between the two weeks from Nov. 29 to Dec. 12, offering up to 50% off regular prices for housewares, electronics, toys and other categories for one day only. On Cyber Monday, the company will offer up to 70% off some items plus free shipping.

— is calling its promotion "Cyber Week," offering online-only specials beginning Monday, Nov. 30 through Dec. 4. The company did not disclose specific deals but said it will offer more than 100 specials on electronics, toys, videogames and other products. It will also offer 50 online-only deals on Thanksgiving.

— will offer deals beginning Monday and running through Nov. 30. Some deals available on Black Friday include a LG 37-inch LCD TV for $649, down from $1,399, and an exclusive Tonner 17-inch "Twilight" Edward Cullen Doll for $89.99, down from $139.99. It will offer additional deals on Cyber Monday.

— Department-store operator J.C. Penney Co. is extending its Cyber Monday deals into a two-day event, offering sales online beginning Sunday, Nov. 29 through Nov. 30. It will discount 30,000 items and offer free shipping on purchases $25 or more.
