New App Lets You Track Santa Claus

NEW YORK (MainStreet) — Want to keep up with Santa’s route during Christmas weekend? Now there’s an app for that.

For several years, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has partnered with Google to map out Santa’s gift-giving path around the world on NoradSanta.org. This year, NORAD has taken the tradition a step further by introducing free apps for the iPhone and Android phones to track Santa.

The app, called NORAD Tracks Santa, features a countdown until the Santa tracker kicks off, a cute game called Elf Toss and, of course, Santa’s route. So if your kids are constantly bugging you about when Santa is coming to town, just use this to distract them.
