The position: Visual information specialist for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service
Location: Washington, D.C.
Job duties: Serves as a graphic design specialist to support products like publications, agency mementos and other projects. Coordinates graphic design services. Takes project ideas or themes and determines the best means to communicate desired information through graphic design. Ensures compliance with NCIS branding guidelines.
The company: The NCIS is a federal law enforcement agency that investigates serious offenses and threats affecting the Navy and Marine Corps. Most of the agency's staff consists of civilians.
Requirements: Must be proficient in the use of graphic design tools and programs, including the Adobe Creative Suite. Requires experience working with layout and design of printed materials, preparing design of visual communications and working knowledge of materials and equipment used. Preference is for candidates with excellent written communication skills.
