NEW YORK (MainStreet) – Now that February is at an end, the day we’ve all been waiting for is just about here.
No, we’re not talking about the iPad 2 release. We’re talking about National Pancake Day.
Walk into a participating IHOP Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and get a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes. You don’t need bring a coupon or order anything to qualify for the stack, though IHOP strongly recommends that you match its generosity by donating to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Last year the promotion raised $2.1 million for children’s hospitals and other local charities, and this year the goal has been raised $2.3 million. We can do this, America!
While the chain was previously offering special wake-up calls from celebrities to remind patrons about the promotion, registration is unfortunately closed this year, so make sure you set your alarm.
Oh, and only one stack of pancakes per guest. Hey, pancakes don’t grow on trees.
