NEW YORK (MainStreet) – Can’t afford to bring that special someone to a fancy restaurant on Valentine’s Day? A number of fast food joints have stepped up to help with special Valentine’s deals.
First up is Subway: The sandwich chain is already in a generous mood, having expanded its perennial “$5 Footlong” promotion to all of its regular sandwiches as part of what it dubs “FebruANY.” Now it’s declaring today “free cookie day” by giving away free raspberry cheesecake cookies to customers. The promotion is good for today only and you have to make a purchase to get the cookie. Also, only one cookie per customer. The printable coupon can be found on Subway’s website.
Meanwhile, White Castle has been encouraging couples to grab a table at its restaurant to show their love with sliders and onion rings. As part of the “Sweetheart Meal Deal” promotion, you can get $1 off a “sack of sides” (fries, onion rings or cheese sticks) when you order a Sack Meal #1 or #10. Today’s the last day the deal is valid and the printable coupon is online.
Finally, Papa John’s is offering a large heart-shaped pizza. This is the second year the chain has offered the romantic pie, which costs the same as a regular large pizza, $10. The promotion proved popular last year, as Papa John’s claims it sold 60,000 of the pies. After all, nothing says “I love you” like a tub of garlic sauce.
