The position: Senior event strategy/execution manager for Harley-Davidson.
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Job duties: Use marketing strategies to develop a relevant event marketing plan for the company and various related departments. Work with Integrated Brand Alliances on sponsorship opportunities. Leverage the company's presence at motorcycle events and events aimed at target markets. Collaborate with the Consumer Event Team, Operations Team and other departments to develop and execute events. Direct and oversee negotiation of contracts with convention centers, facilities, vendors, suppliers and hotels.

Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field. Must have at least six years of experience involving planning and executing of events. Requires proven experience in event strategic planning, development and execution. Must have familiarity with motorcycling and the motorcycle marketplace. Ideal candidate will have a valid motorcycle safety endorsement (or ability to complete one with an advanced classification), and be able to operate V-rod motorcycles. Must have demonstrated experience negotiating with vendors and suppliers, overseeing event management and handling customer relationships.
