While traditional bricks-and-mortar retailers try to step up their game to compete with online retail giant Amazon, some of them are doing a good job. Others, it seems, are struggling. Retailers like The Gap, Urban Outfitters, Nordstrom and The Container Store are firing on all cylinders by offering customers a seamless experience between their bricks-and-mortar stores, e-commerce initiatives and mobile efforts. But not every retailer has gotten savvy when it comes to digital initiatives. According to a report from Wells Fargo Securities, teen retailer Aeropostale, department store chain Kohl's and big box retailer Target have more work to do. Target, along with Walmart, have moved their digital strategies up in the priority list as they play catch up with Amazon by leveraging something the e-retailer doesn't have -physical stores. TheStreet's Laurie Kulikowski has details.
