Will This Ratings Initiation Help American International Group (AIG) Stock Today?

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- American International Group Inc. (AIG) was initiated with an "outperform" rating and $64 price target at RBC Capital Markets.

The firm said it started the global insurance company with a strong rating as AIG is a market leader and is leveraged to higher interest rates.

Shares of AIG are down -0.09% to $54.99 in pre-market trading on Thursday.
