Why GreenHunter Resources (GRH) Stock Is Jumping Today

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- GreenHunter Resources (GRH) was gaining 23.9% to $2.41 Monday after the company's planned pipeline destination was revealed.

GreenHunter's planned pipeline destination will be "somewhere in the Northern Panhandle" of West Virginia according a report from the Associated Press, citing GreenHunter VP of business operations John Jack. The planned pipeline will carry water, brine, and hydrocarbons through Pennsylvania and West Virginia to the Ohio River.

Construction of the pipeline is expected to begin in 2015, and it will become fully operational in early 2016.
