The Top 20 Colleges With the Most Outrageous Party People

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- College is a place of education and growth, but it's also a place where students can cut loose and have fun. Whether they head to a bar, a frat party or some other social gathering, students at the various institutions of higher learning across the country look forward to enjoying themselves.

So, which schools have the most intense party-goers? Where can we find the students who are ready to go at a moment's notice and who make other school's parties look like Chuck. E Cheese events by comparison?

Thanks to the folks at Niche, now we can find out for sure. Niche users shared their opinions on the party scenes at the colleges they currently or recently attend(ed). Schools with high rankings are considered to have a lively party scene with a number of options both on and off campus, and students who consider their peers to be fun, outgoing, friendly, and into partying. We've also included some useful comments from those users.

So without further ado, here are the best party schools:

19. University of Virginia
Charlottesville, VA

Student Surveys on Party Scene: 4.0 out of 5

Comments:"Lots of big parties nearly every night of the week. It is entirely possible to go to a party every night for the first few weeks of the semester. After that, people slow down a little. Tuesday night is Pint Night (cheap beer) and Thursday-Saturday is the main party time. Many students have fake IDs so they can get into the few bars/clubs on the Corner. Plenty of Frats and house parties nearby.
Many students drink and go out multiple nights of the week, so it gets talked about a lot. You might wonder how everyone could disappear so early from the libraries on a school night."

"The party scene has many options. On a typical Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night, there will be house parties all up 14th and 15th street, frat parties on rugby road, and the bars on the corner are usually full of people."

18. University of Colorado - Boulder
Boulder, CO

Student Surveys on Party Scene: 4.0 out of 5

Comments: "Here are many house parties on the hill. It is so convenient while you're in the dorms because it's a short walk. It's also perfect because if one party is not your scene, you can walk a few blocks and find dozens of other parties. The frats also host a lot of parties and if that is your scene, you will love it! The parties definitely have a positive impact because you can meet so many different students that you never would have met in your classes. Even if you are a business major, you can end up meeting kids who are communication majors and become the best of friends. The more friendly faces you see on campus, the more it feels like home."

"There is always an option to attend a party on a weekend night. Some are wild while others are casual."
