GoPro (GPRO) Stock Surges on First Trading Day After IPO

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- GoPro  (GPRO) stock surged on Thursday, its first day of trading after the camera company priced its IPO.

The company priced its initial public offering of 17.8 million shares at $24 a share. GoPro raised $427 million in the offering.

The stock opened at $30.79 and rose more than 35% to a high of $32.50 as of 11:06 a.m. More than 18 million shares had been traded by that point.
