Why Barclays (BCS) Stock Is Lower This Afternoon

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Shares of Barclays Plc (BCS) are down -0.69% to $15.73 in very heavy trading volume this afternoon after it was reported that the bank is being sued by the New York State attorney general over fraud allegations related to the marketing and operation of its dark pool, sources told Bloomberg.
