NEW YORK (TheStreet) --The S&P 500 has closed above its 200-day moving average for 400 consecutive days.

That is truly extraordinary.

It is one of the longest streaks in stock market history. It currently sits right behind the bull market of 1997 and 1998. Over those two years, the S&P 500 remained above its 200-day moving average for a record 525 straight days.
