Why Emerge Energy Services (EMES) Stock Is Down Today

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Emerge Energy Services (EMES) was falling -11.6% to $99.78 Friday after pricing an offering of common units for holders.

The company priced the offering of 3,515,388 common units representing limited partner interest at $109.06 a share. The underwriters have a 30-day option to buy up to 527,307 additional units. Emerge Energy won't receive any proceed from the offering, and the number of outstanding common units won't change.
