Will Google (GOOG) Stock Be Affected By These Two New Acquisitions

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Google Inc. (GOOG) is purchasing two tech startup companies in an effort to enhance its wireless and advertising technologies, Bloomberg reports.

The company purchased MDialog Corp. and the wireless startup Alpental Technologies Inc. as part of its plan to create new businesses and reinforce existing ones.

Google announced the two acquisitions on its website but did not include terms of the deals.

The company has been on a buying spree lately, making five purchases last month and three in June, Bloomberg added.

Shares of google are lower by -0.11% to $55.77 in afternoon trading on Thursday.
