Why Springleaf Holdings (LEAF) Stock Is Down In Pre-Market Trading On Thursday

NEW YORK (TheStreet) --Shares of Springleaf Holdings Inc. (LEAF) are lower by -1.85% to $26 in pre-market trading this morning following a ratings downgrade to "neutral" from "buy" at Sterne Agee.

The firm said it cut its rating on the consumer finance company based on weaknesses in two units.

Sterne Agee also lowered its price target to $28 from $30.
