Why Sprint (S) Stock Is Gaining Tuesday

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Sprint (S) was gaining 1.7% to $8.91 Tuesday following an upgrade from Macquarie.

Macquarie analysts upgraded Sprint to "outperform" from "neutral," saying they believe there is a 70% chance a deal to acquire T-Mobile (TMUS) will go through.

Shares of T-Mobile were falling -0.5% to $33.68 as investors are more skeptical that a deal will go through according to Seeking Alpha.
