(Nasdaq: BJRI) today announced the launch of its new mobile application, saving guests both time and money by allowing them to order ahead, move up in line for a table and pay without waiting for their check, all from the convenience of their smartphone or tablet. By placing new features and services directly in the hands of guests for use at any time and from any place, the BJ’s app sets a new standard for how restaurants use technology to empower their guests and improve the overall dining experience. Through the app, which is available for iPhone and Android smartphones and tablets, guests can choose features and benefits best suited for their particular dining occasion:
- Dine-In Order Ahead allows guests to place their food and drink order in advance. Their orders are started as they are seated.
- Preferred Waitlist allows guests to view current wait times and move up in line from anywhere. If there is a wait, guests who use Dine-In Order Ahead are automatically placed on the Preferred Waitlist.
- Mobile Pay eliminates waiting for the check.
- For a limited time, guests can save $5 off all orders $20 or more anytime they use Dine-In Order Ahead, Curbside Take Out Order Ahead or Mobile Pay through the app.
