How Will Unilever (UL) Stock React to Ragu Business Sale?

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Unilever (UN) is in advanced talks to sell its Ragu pasta sauce business to Japanese condiments maker Mizkan Group for over $2 billion, sources say, Reuters reports.

Mizkan has apparently prevailed over established food companies, including Hornmel Foods Corp. (HRL), after a months-long auction of the brand, sources added.

Negotiations are still continuing and the companies have yet to sign a deal, Reuters noted.
