Google Glass Goes on Sale Again!

NEW YORK (TheStreet) - If you didn't get in on Google's (GOOG) one-time deal last month to purchase Google Glass, you have another chance to pony up the $1,500 it costs to buy one.

Google announced last night that its wearable tech device is on sale again. This time, it doesn't seem to have an expiration date.

Google announced in a Google+ post last night that consumers in the U.S. can once again purchase the $1,500 device. Here's the post:

"We weren't kidding. We learned a lot when we opened our site a few weeks ago, so we've decided to move to a more open beta. We're still in the Explorer Program while we continue to improve our hardware and software, but starting today anyone in the US can buy the Glass Explorer Edition, as long as we have it on hand: We're ready to keep meeting new Explorers, and we can't wait to hear all your experiences and feedback to continue to make Glass even better, ahead of our wider consumer release."

Google Glass devices come with a cable and charger; mono ear bud, pouch and choice of shade or frame, according to the Google Glass Web site.

Google Glass has been criticized as an out-of-touch, way too expensive device for mainstream consumers. But the company is looking to expand its Glass product (if they are willing to give up a month's rent to purchase one). Following the April sale, Google said that it would be looking to expand its Explorer program in the near future.
